The quickest way to fresh macadamia milk

50g Macadamia
500ml filtered water
Preparation
First, pour hot water over the macadamias and leave them to soak for 4-6 hours. The nuts should be completely covered with water. It is best to leave a good 3-4 cm of space between the macadamias and the surface of the water.
After soaking, drain through a sieve and rinse thoroughly.
Now blend the macadamias with 500ml of filtered water in a high-speed blender until the nuts are completely chopped.
If you don't like the feeling of nut flour, strain your milk through a nut milk bag and squeeze it out well. Only macadamia pomace remains.
Finally, pour the macadamia milk into a sterilized bottle and put it straight into the fridge. The milk will keep for a good 5 days. Shake well before you use it!
Optional: If you like your macadamia milk a little sweeter, you can also add 1-2 dates and some vanilla to the blender.
For those in a hurry, we have an extra tip:
Mix 50g of macadamia nut butter with 500ml of filtered warm water. Ready in under a minute!
